Michael Menor
Technical Account Manager

Michael Menor is the Technical Account Manager for Tactical IT Group.

Being the only child of five born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, he enjoyed the year-round perfect weather of Hawaii until he joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 18. Mr. Menor was a Fire-Control Technician (FT) on-board a nuclear attack submarine and he specialized in weapons and computer systems. He had the pleasure of serving on-board two nuclear attack submarines, USS Albuquerque (SSN-706) and USS Santa Fe (SSN-763), and ended his enlistment in 2009.

After getting out of the Navy, it was back to civilian life for Mr. Menor. He worked as a government contractor in Pearl Harbor until he got the news of his first born child, Aiden, being born in Monroe, Michigan. Many people ask Mr. Menor, “Why did you move to Michigan?!” He simply answers, “For my son.”

He's the Vice President of Support Services & Strategic Partner for a successful Managed IT Provider in Southeast Michigan and recently moved to Lexington in July of 2016 to join the Tactical IT Group as their Technical Account Manager.

Mr. Menor is currently pursuing his Bachelors of Information Technology, majoring in Network Security and Information Assurance. When he is not juggling work and school full-time, he enjoys spending time with family and traveling as a freelance photographer. He also has a dog named Snowflake and a cat named Winston.

With his extensive background, Mr. Menor has over 10 years of IT experience ranging from the simple home user fixes to high-end enterprise network firewalls and servers to multi-million dollar military computer systems.

Coty Woods
Systems Engineer

The eldest child of nine Coty was raised in Corbin Kentucky. Mr. Woods enjoyed spending summers on the lake and visiting Cumberland Falls. Mr. Woods grew up wanted to teach mathematics and help people learn. He would later fall in love with technology and would make a career of it.

After High school Mr. Woods got married and started school at Kaplan University majoring in Information Technology. Mr. Woods would later transfer from Kaplan University to Sullivan University where he would graduate in 2014 with a Systems Support and Administration Certificate, an Associates of Science in Information Technology, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Technology. Mr. Woods is currently going to graduate school for a Master’s of Science in Cyber Security.

Mr. Woods enjoys spending time with family including his Niece and Nephew who he and his wife watch over. He enjoys learning new technology and how things work. He spends time in his study learning about new technology and working on systems that he has built. On his days off when he is not in his study Mr. Woods enjoys cooking and going to food tasting where he can try new and exotic foods.

Mr. Woods has 4 years of IT experience ranging from personal user PCs to Business networks and servers.
